Basket table

The inspiration for the woven table comes from the traditional fishing boats found across Vietnam. As the story goes, when the French levied taxes on boats in Vietnam, fishermen wouldn’t pay them – so they designed circular woven baskets instead that just so happened to also function as boats.
Today they are a symbol of ingenuity and independence.

Table top in natural or stained oak with locally produced natural Tung oil. A small step for a better future.
